every year I try to take Valentine pictures of the boys. I know the day will come where they probably won’t let me, so I take advantage now while I can! I bought a few balloons and surprised Peyton and Jayden by taking them to their favorite train to take pictures. they had a lot of fun, almost to the point where I couldn’t get them to stop laughing at each other!
these three together are my favorite…. we made it into Valentine cards and sent it to family and friends.
so I have a little obsession with instagram. doesn’t everyone?

a few days ago we got the bubbles out and the boys had a blast with them. I finally went through all of the pictures…. Peyton and Jayden had so much fun! I love Texas’ warm winter days!
Peyton and Jayden LOVE chocolate milk. they haven’t had it in a long time so they were surprised when they got it for a treat, with straws!
and when you give these boys straws, and cups with no lids, they do what boys do best…. make bubbles!
Peyton wanted to make sure everyone was safe around the big hole in the backyard so he made a sign, which he is very proud of.
we all feel safer now! Thanks Peyton!

last year at this time we were having a Texas size snow storm….
one year later, they are wearing shorts and playing with bubbles!
Jason has been talking about building a pond in our backyard for awhile. He came up with a plan and finally started it! we are all so excited to see it finished!
Peyton and Jayden had a great time digging in the dirt and finding worms.
and then took time out for four wheeling!
Peyton’s homework was to make a Valentine box for his upcoming party at school. when I went to the store to buy stickers and get ideas for his box I found out you can buy premade boxes for kids to decorate. I was SO CLOSE to buying one that looked like a car or a dinosaur but when it came down to it I really wanted Peyton to make it the way HE wanted to. I mean how many more years is he going to do this?? so I went to the $ store and bought red wrapping paper and lots of Valentine stickers….
the boys had such a good time decorating their boxes! I let Jayden make one too…. it’s only fair!
they decided they wanted it to look like a mailbox, so we put flags them. You can’t really see Jayden’s flag but he insisted his have Halloween paper on it!
