i finished my (first) 365 yesterday! (some of my pictures were not included in these mosaics…. but this is most of them).

you slept on your belly for the first time last night. until 7:00am! i checked on you a lot. i was worried. but apparently you were fine.

i’ll try putting you on your belly more. i tried this morning but you didn’t want it. you wanted to be wrapped in your blanket and held. your in your bouncer, in your crib, all bundled up right now. you love bouncer naps in the morning. i have no idea how we are going to stop them. you have been through three bouncers now! the first two broke from bouncing so much. youre so funny!

you slept on your belly again for naptime. i took a picture. you were so comfortable.

we bought you a potty ring Peyton. we figured since you had turned 2.5 you might be ready to potty train. you were more than ready! you were potty trained over night. youre so smart. i thought it was going to take awhile for you to even want to sit on the potty. before you took your bath tonight i asked you if you wanted to try your new potty. you said OK then tried it! i am amazed by you. youre a great big brother. i know i say that all the time. but you really are. just wait though, soon Jayden will be wanting to play with you and with your toys. you might have your work cut out for you. from what i can see Jayden can’t wait to run and play with you.

Jayden you crack me up more and more each day. you love squealing at the top of your lungs, clapping, and saying dada. sometimes all at the same time. i think it is so funny, but sometimes Peyton gets a little mad. saying sssshhh geee, with his finger out. which cracks me up even more. you are so ready to crawl and walk. i can see it in your face. your eyes follow Peyton everywhere he goes. i am excited about you walking and playing more. but that will mean my baby is growing up even more. it makes me sad and happy all at the same time. you will always be my baby.

after the boys morning nap I took the boys to Grapevine Lake to meet Jason and Grandpa. the weather was a little chilly so i bundled the boys up knowing it would be colder on the water. Peyton you had a blast riding on the boat! you loved seeing everything!Jayden you stayed in the stroller for a little while. i think the boat made you tired again. cheese!look at my cute baby! Jayden you had so much fun!Peyton you loved pretending to drive!Jayden and I enjoyed just hanging out.Look at how happy you are Jay! too cute!Jason had a great time on the lake today. it made him want a boat of his own.
maybe someday!Jason tried to get Peyton to hook a worm. ‘no way!’ haha! It was nice to see Jason and Randy spending some time together! They had a great day, even though there weren’t any fish caught.

last night Jason’s Dad drove in from Illinois. Peyton was so excited to see Grandpa and Sammie this morning when he got up.Jayden was tired this morning but excited to see Grandpa too.
time to show G-pa how we roll around here.it was too chilly to swim so we heated up the hot tub. Peyton thought it was the best thing ever!then he showed Grandpa how he can jump!one, two, THREE!BIG SPLASH! Grandpa wore Peyton out! he took a loooong nap. such a silly boy! tomorrow Jason is renting a boat at Grapevine Lake for him and his Dad to fish. if it isn’t too chilly i will meet them out there and let the boys ride on the boat as well. it should be fun!

you did so good Peyton. you loved getting your haircut. we are so proud of you!


we went grocery shopping after Peyton got his hair cut. Jayden was so tired. Obviously.

we took both of you to the ymca for an Easter Egg hunt today. you had so much fun. Peyton you loved being with all the kids. you got so many eggs. Jayden you stayed in the stroller but had fun watching everyone.

youre such a happy boy. you crack us up with your squeals and your funny laugh. you love watching peyton. you do this little rocking thing, like you want to get up and run around with him. your sitting up so well and love playing with your train. you also love jumping in your duck, clapping your hands, and saying dada over and over. i really can’t believe how big youre getting. i get excited about all the new things you do, but it also makes me sad that your first year will be over before we know it. don’t grow up too fast.
