every year I try to take Valentine pictures of the boys. I know the day will come where they probably won’t let me, so I take advantage now while I can! I bought a few balloons and surprised Peyton and Jayden by taking them to their favorite train to take pictures. they had a lot of fun, almost to the point where I couldn’t get them to stop laughing at each other!
these three together are my favorite…. we made it into Valentine cards and sent it to family and friends.
Peyton and Jayden were being especially cute today so I thought I would take advantage and take a few pictures of them. I am HORRIBLE at indoor pictures but I thought I would try anyway. the boys made it easy!
I will smooth out the backdrop in this next picture if I have it printed…. Also, in the others I photoshopped more lights in and the cord out.
In less than a week you will not only be starting your first year of elementary school, you will also be turning 6. I can not explain to you how excited and nervous I am….
The past 6 years you have been mine. We did what we wanted to do and the first day of kindergarten was not even a thought in my mind. I dont know if it was denial or if I just didnt want to think about you starting school. But now it’s time. You are ready for school, to learn, and make new friends without me by your side….
If it were up to me I would go back to the day we brought you home, the day you made me a mom, or even to the day we found out we were having you. I would love to do it all over again, but I know I cant….
You have so much ahead of you and kindergarten is just the beginning.
Peyton we love you so much and you are going to have so much fun. Enjoy it all, take it all in, and know we are so proud of you! You are one of the sweetest, kindest boys we know.
Grow, learn, make good choices but must of all know that we love you.

Jayden will be 4 this weekend. it is crazy how fast 4 years have gone! his 4 year pictures were fun for both of us. he’s an angel.
our evening trip to see the train was better than i expected. Peyton and Jayden did SO good. i told them i was taking their Easter pictures so they were excited to do them. i love both of the pictures! i am so proud of both of my boys!
this is the Easter card i ordered a few days ago…. i cant wait to send them out!
they have grown so much in one year!

we had the park all to ourselves today.

laughing and making up games,
and picking dandelions for me.
I had the pleasure of photographing Aslynn’s birthday again this year. her party was held at Lifetime Fitness…. a fun time for everyone. Happy 2nd Birthday Aslynn!
