Peyton was so excited this morning for his field trip to Grapevine Sea Life Aquarium…. not sure if the excitement was for the field trip itself or the fact that he got to ride the bus for the first time!
I couldn’t volunteer to go with Peyton and his class, since siblings were not invited, but Jayden and I had fun seeing Daddy when he came home for lunch,
and dressing like Santa.
Jason’s Uncle Glen and Aunt Patsy came in town for a couple of days and stayed with us. the boys took to them so fast! Jayden fell in love with them and their little dog instantly. Uncle Glen is Grandpa’s brother, so that might explain it!
Peyton had so much fun playing corn hole with Uncle Glen!

Jayden asked to take a walk before his nap today…. at first he REALLY wanted to take his little red car, but once we got to the neighbors front yard he changed his mind about his choice of transportation.

I love how they always sit so close together. Peyton was ready for school and Jayden just woke up. my ipod touch was the only camera within arms reach. I love this….
the night before our last day we had a little get-together at one of the pools to visit one last time before we had to start packing up for the trip home.
I am going to miss Paulette so much…. and all of the little cousins too!
we spent our last day at Splash Lagoon….
Jayden found a mustache at the pool, so we all got to be like Daddy….

today started with swimming with cousins….
Jayden asked for his floaties. I love how cautious he gets when we are away from home.
after swimming, we took the boys back to the condo, changed them into their pirate gear and took a ride back to Downtown Disney for a surprise. we invited Bunny and Poppy to come along too….
Jayden fell asleep on the way there…. my cute little pirate!

we surprised the boys with renting a boat in Downtown Disney…. they were so excited and even got to help drive the boat. all of us had a great time! I am so glad Bunny and Poppy came too! such great memories….

while Peyton was driving we got in trouble. someone that worked there drove their boat over to us and told us the boys were not aloud to drive. (we let Peyton have a few more minutes with Poppy after the guy left). it was only fair! poor Peyton was so upset….
it was so great having this time with my mom and dad! everything was beautiful….
during our boat ride I filled up my camera card, so I couldn’t take anymore pictures, although I did take some iphoto pictures!
the last time we were here Peyton was about 14 months old. it is crazy how fast time flies! one thing we love about Daytona, you can drive your car right onto the beach. which is really helpful when you have two little ones who have sensitive skin. they had to keep changing from their swimsuits back to shorts because the sand and salt water would sting their legs. i am so thankful we brought extra clothes! all of us had such a great time!

this couple walked hand in hand down the beach together…. I only hope Jason and I will be able to do the same someday when our boys are grown. it was one of the sweetest things I have ever seen.

with just enough time for a late lunch and a walk on the boardwalk…. shrimp for us and hot dogs for the boys. so good!

later in the evening we went to Downtown Disney for dinner. I don’t know where we found the energy!

we woke up to hot air balloons flying over the condo this morning….
since Jason was playing golf this afternoon, we decided to spend the day at the Splash Lagoon Pool. my sister and her family showed up as well. all of us had a ball!

we had such a great day at Magic Kingdom…. they decorate like crazy for Halloween and the weather was perfect! I think we take this same picture every year…. in front of Magic Kingdom’s HUGE pumpkins looking right into the sun. sorry boys!

we always ride The Haunted Mansion first…. although I didnt take a picture of it, it is one of our favorites. Dumbo and Buzz Lightyear are our favorites too!

Peyton was finally tall enough to go on Space Mountain this year…. I wasn’t so sure he was ready for it but he wanted to go. him and Jason had such a great time! Peyton came running out asking to go again, so the second time I rode it with him, and wouldn’t you know it the thing broke down right in the middle of flying through the dark! we sat in the dark for probably three minutes, (which felt like an hour), before someone announced the ride had broken down and they would be out to help us in a few minutes…. then the lights came on. a lady walked up the stairs and PUSHED our car and we flew down the rest of the roller coaster with the lights on. I was so glad it was over! Peyton had a blast, but i was SO worried about both of us. the car we were in could hold about 10 people but there were only 4 of us on it. two in the front and me and Peyton in the back. they are individual cars, so Peyton was in front of me. the best i could do to make him feel safe was to rub his head. Ugh! Im thankful he didn’t know how worried I was!

Peyton was also tall enough to ride Splash Mountain in Frontier Land…. Jayden is still too little so I waited with him while he napped in the stroller. we rode a lot of rides and had such a great day! as we were leaving to head to Epcot there was a show outside of the castle. Peyton and Jayden loved seeing Captain Hook!

one of my favorite parts of our trip every year is Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival…. there is always so much to see and do!

the boats take you to the other countries if you don’t want to walk…. the boys LOVE them, so we didn’t mind catching a ride from Mexico to Japan for wine and sushi! although Mexico does have GREAT tamales!
something for everyone…. sushi, wine, beer, and a funnel cake! and entertainment too!
we had a great time in Epcot! both boys got to ride ‘Soarin’, which is a pretty big deal. it is probably one of the best rides/shows Epcot has!
Jayden was THRILLED to see Chip & Dale! he walked right up to them and gave them both a big hug. He’s usually shy and not big on Characters but apparently Chip & Dale are ok with him!
