Friday, October 14th, 2011one of Peyton’s friends from his class had a costume party at the local pumpkin farm. such a great idea for an october birthday!

Peyton had so much fun with all of his classmates….
Jayden had a pretty good time too!
both boys got a chance to feed cows and donkeys…. Jayden didn’t want any part of it, but Peyton was all over it! the cows were hungry!
the hayride was so much fun for everyone! in Jayden’s words: ‘this is so coowah!’ (cool)
they also went through the corn maze, and ate the cutest cake ever! it was such a fun party!
Dallas Arboretum | 2011
Wednesday, October 12th, 2011we took Peyton out of school early one day this week and had a family day at the Dallas Arboretum. we had such a great time! the weather was perfect….
we couldn’t believe everything they did with the pumpkins. so great!
the petting area…. the animals were so sweet!
Peyton got his face painted…. it looked so great!

Friday, October 7th, 2011today after Peyton got out of school we went to ‘kromart’ (Jayden’s word for Kroger) to let the boys pick out two pumpkins to paint. they LOVE doing this every year!
Jayden was so proud of his happy face….
and Peyton painted a cat on his….

Thursday, October 6th, 2011thursday nights have become our nights for early dinners, getting any last minute homework done, and then rushing off to soccer practice. i love when Jason is able to come with us. he helps coach and settle the boys down when they get crazy. it’s pretty entertaining to watch!
practice is held right next to a dog park. Jayden loves watching all of the ‘gogs’ run around together.
believe it or not Jayden is not very social. you would think he would be with how silly he is at home (and in pictures), but when it comes to people he doesn’t know he gets shy…. but lately he has come out of his shell a little and is starting to talk to other kids his age.
and of course it wouldn’t be soccer practice without finding a few ‘coconuts’….
