we woke up to rain…. so after hanging out in the condo for awhile we decided to take the boys to lunch at TREX in Downtown Disney. we had a great time! once we got there the sun came out and the rest of the day was beautiful! (we wore our Rangers shirts…. Ranger fans for Halloween? sure why not!)
the boys loved the Dino-Dig!
lunch was great…. but if you ever eat at T-Rex don’t sit in the ‘Blue Room’. Ugh!
before we left we went into our favorite toy store and let the boys pick out a souvenir.

when we got back to the condo the boys got dressed for the Halloween party at the pool. Bunny surprised us with caveman costumes…. she is so creative! the boys looked so cute!
Jayden is so attached to me lately…. this picture made me laugh. i was uploading a picture of the boys in their costumes to facebook while Jayden was squeezing my legs. it didn’t faze me at all. it’s so funny how mom’s get used to things their kids do.
the Halloween party was fun…. there was so much to see! the fire eating lady…. Yikes! don’t try this at home!

we woke up early this morning to catch our flight to Orlando. we look forward to this trip every year! we got to see the sun rise as we were sitting on the airplane for AN HOUR to take off. apparently there was frost on the wings? it was about 45 degrees outside, so we got a laugh out of that news! the boys did a GREAT job of waiting in their seats…. better than most of the passengers!
our first ‘ride’, the monorail to baggage claim.
since we had a little while before we could check in to our condo, we went straight to Downtown Disney for lunch! so great to be back in Florida with Buzz Lightyear!
after unpacking and grocery shopping we took the boys down to the pool…. we spent the next day at the pool as well. the boys could not get enough of the waterslide…. i love how they made new friends at the pool so fast!
my whole family takes this annual trip to Florida every year. we all stay at Orange Lake and meet at the pool and golf courses during the day to visit. this year my cousin Keith came down. Jason, Keith, and my Dad had a great time playing golf. the boys always LOVE playing with cousin Keith!

this week is Red Ribbon Week at school. each day the kids and teachers wear something from a different theme for the day. today was ‘wear your career goal’. Peyton went as The Mayor of Colleyville! we were surprised to hear him say it, i thought he was going to ask to be a firefighter or something else we have in our dress up chest. he wore his tie and I made him a name tag. he looked adorable with daddy the country singer!

carving pumpkins is always a fun tradition for all of us. i love the books you can buy at the store with all of the different patterns to carve. of course they always make it seem so easy with rating them from ‘one pumpkin’ for easy, to ’4 pumpkins’ for difficult. the boys both picked out a ‘two pumpkin’ pattern for Jason and i to carve this year. i don’t know who came up with the rating system but the witch Jayden picked out was definitely more than just TWO pumpkins! i ended up going off the pattern and making up our own witch face. I’m pretty sure Jason would say the same thing about the bat Peyton chose.
i was surprised the boys wanted to help with the seeds….
Peyton got a little grossed out by it after a few minutes. it didn’t help that i kept showing it to him.
both of them turned out really cute! Happy Halloween!

this was Peyton’s last soccer game, not for his whole team but just for us. we won’t be able to make the next two games so we said bye to all of our new soccer friends today. the season went so fast!
Peyton drew a picture for his coach this morning…. Coach Matt gave Peyton a high five for it.
Jayden really enjoyed seeing his new friend Joaquin at all of the practices and games. Joaquin is the first friend Jayden has ever made on his own. usually Peyton or i have something to do with getting him to talk to people, so we are really going to miss seeing him!

since the weather has been so great we thought we would take the boys out to the golf course to practice hitting balls. the boys practice a lot in the backyard but it is getting to the point where it is just dangerous. these boys can really hit the ball hard, and far!
it was fun watching my three guys do their thing….

i especially like Peyton’s form…. i think his tongue helps him hit the ball better!
both boys loved seeing the airplanes fly over….
Jayden also liked watching the birds…. it’s hard to explain to a four year old why birds don’t want to be touched.

this past week we did a lot, but i haven’t been taking as many pictures as i usually do when we are just hanging out at home.
the boys discovered Angry Birds on my itouch…. (i have my brother and sister in law to thank for this!) they came in town with their ipod touch and i loved all of the things it could do and with the added bonus of the Angry Birds app…. total fun for all of us!
Jayden and i played a few alphabet games this week…. we also made a letter of the week ‘F for Fox’, although i didn’t take a picture. i am slacking! we also practiced his name and a few other letters. he is getting really good!
and we always love when Daddy comes home for lunch!
