while Peyton and Jason are at school all week, Jayden keeps me pretty busy….
this week we colored,
made words with stickers,
shopped,
made our letter of the week craft. ( E is for elephant!)
played with Mr. Potato Head,
hung homemade ghosts in the kitchen,
and invited Superman to breakfast.
i love making little desserts for the boys and their friends. i made marshmallow pops for one of Peyton’s kindergarten teachers the other day.
and a few for the office ladies too!
i found Jayden in the living room practicing his letters on his leap pad today…. not only practicing his letters, but copying words out of one of his books.
yes our coffee table is scratched, with fingerprints, and all kinds of stuff!

Michelle, Jack, and I go way back…. but somehow time got away from us and we hadn’t seen eachother in forever! it had been at least 20 years since I saw Jack. it was SO GREAT to see them again! Michelle is living here now so i am THRILLED! we had lunch at Esparzas on Friday. So fun!

even though it’s always picture day at our house, i LOVE getting the grainy pictures from school! Peyton asked to wear a tie today, and a blazer which we don’t even own! so he was happy with just a tie and a button up shirt. i thought he looked adorable!
Peyton came home and told me the photographer buttoned his shirt all the way up and tightened his tie for him before he took his picture. Oh goodness Mr. Photographer! this might be the best worst kindergarten picture ever!
my brother and sister-in-law flew in from California to surprise Dad for his birthday. Mom and Dad were thrilled to see them. it was such a great weekend! Tim & Chrissy surprised Dad with a beautiful picture of a B-36. one of the airplanes Dad was crew chief on back in the day. i can’t explain how much dad loves this picture. probably one of the best presents ever!
we spent one afternoon at Grapefest and having lunch at Esparzas. SO much fun for all of us!
back at Bunny & Poppy’s to visit a little more….
a great weekend! Happy Birthday Dad! We love you!
soccer is going really well! Peyton loves practice and the games, but most of all i think he is really enjoying his new friends….
